House GOP wants to spend $3.3M on Benghazi probe

Source: ASSOCIATED PRESS

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Republicans are calling for spending $3.3 million this year on a special select committee investigating the deadly Sept. 11, 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya.

The seven-member GOP majority would get some $2.2 million for staff and other operations while the five-member Democratic minority would receive just over $1 million for similar expenses.

The costs were spelled out in a committee document provided by Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi of California.

The attacks killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. Democrats have portrayed the investigation as election-year partisanship. Republicans have said the probe is necessary to find out the facts.

Representative Issa, may we not drop this? We know there was an attack. Let us not assassinate Ambassador Stevens further, Representative; you've done enough. Have you no sense of decency, sir? At long last, have you left no sense of decency?

Repubs once again try to socialize the costs while they privatize the profits.

There are many kinds of socialists in this world. Republicans are the worst kind of socialists that we get to see.

Especially, one whose outcome they already know from the first eleven probes they conducted.

And then THEY WANT TO TELL US they want to rein in wasteful spending??????????

What else is there to investigate? What facts remain to be found after a dozen investigations? Beating on a dead horse is not going to make it any more dead than it already is.

Crazy......
