SOURCES: SUSPECTED COP KILLER ERIC FREIN CAPTURED

Source: ABC

Action News has learned that police have captured Eric Frein, the man accused of killing a Pennsylvania State Trooper.

Sources tell Action News, Frein was captured in a hangar after law enforcement closed in on him Thursday afternoon.

A law enforcement source called Frein a "coward."

Frein is charged with opening fire outside the Blooming Grove barracks on Sept. 12, killing Trooper Bryon Dickson and seriously wounding Trooper Alex Douglass.

Let's find some more details as to where and how he was captured.

Glad you're here! I hadn't thought of that, but you're correct! I'm sure people all over that part of the country were terrified about letting their kids out - ANYWHERE, for any reason, while that asshole remained at large.

EXCELLENT news.

...of the Birchwood Pocono Airpark, near Analomink, which shut down sometime in 1998.

I have relatives in that area, within hiking distance of that place.

On edit: fixed date: 1998. The earlier info was from a different shut-down airfield.

No, LEO, a COWARD shoots an unarmed African-American multiple time in Ferguson. Frein is a DUMBASS who couldn't outwit LEO (which is not hard).

I think the ISIS people are cowards, too. And that jerk who shot the soldier and terrorized people up in Canada. Notice how they feel they must cover their faces? Yeah? Pretty chickenshit if you ask me. If they're so brave 'n' bold and rough 'n' tuff, then let them show their faces. Otherwise, they're yellow as little garden lemons.

And I find it hard to think of anyone who evades their pursuers for so long as a coward. A coward would've given up by now. IMO.

when the cops kept finding his stashes of guns and pipe bombs, not to mention his sleeping bags and backpacks.

It's getting cold out there. I'm sure that's got more to do with it than anything else, except maybe he got a toothache. That would discourage most survivalists on the run.

refrain from calling anyone they catch any names at all in public. It's unprofessional, sounds bullyish and juvenile, and does nothing to advance impartial justice in any way.

"They are really not going to catch him until he is ready to be caught," said Jeremiah Hornbaker, who hired Frein five years ago to advise him on historical accuracy for a World War I documentary film. "He is a very intelligent individual."

I guess he was ready.
I'm glad for the local people there. That must have been hell.

about living with your mom might describe hundreds of people who simply have no other choice, and your remark demeans them. I know you think it is just about him, but, and especially on this board, you stand a real chance of hurting someone who might take that personally, even if they shouldn't.

Just a thought:

Poverty and intelligence have nothing to do with each other, except where poverty reduces it by destroying your health, regardless of what those with the most assets try to make you believe.

Look around at some of the contributions of those who came out of those conditions and it will be clear - it's just something we avoid teaching people because we want you to think "those people" are defective - all the better to manipulate us with.

But when the marshals found him in an open field away from the airport hangar, he was unarmed, authorities said.
"He was definitely taken by surprise," Noonan said.

http://www.cnn.com/2014/10/31/us/pennsylvania-eric-frein-arrest/index.html

"Taken by surprise" while taking a crap?
Whatever, he doesn't appear to be as smart as everyone was saying - hanging out in the open at an abandoned airport when there is all kinds of cover nearby doesn't seem so smart.
