President Obama to visit KU next week, White House says

President Barack Obama will visit the University of Kansas next week following his State of the Union address in Washington.

Keith Maley, a White House spokesman, said Obama will speak at the university Thursday, Jan. 22, "to discuss the themes he'll lay out in his State of the Union address on Tuesday."

Maley didn't give an exact location or time of the speech, adding that details will be available in the coming days.

The KU speech will be Obama's second in as many days at a university. The president is scheduled to speak Wednesday at Boise State University in Idaho.

No wonder Kansas has elected Brownback again.

Lots of contempt for Obama out there in Kansas, they must all watch Fox News, believe he's a socialist Muslim, etc etc etc.
