Just curious...WHY is Greenwald in New Zealand

Trying to tip the polls a week before the election??

http://www.buzzfeed.com/markdistefano/leakers-vs-key#1asjq5k

And exactly HOW much money did Kim Dotcom shell out to bring this circus to town? Once upon a time wasn't the purpose of this entire stunt supposed to only expose illegal domestic surveillance in the United States??

If GG is planning some "big reveal" during the town hall, you all do realize he has crossed into some really distasteful territory, right?? And since when is Snowden writing op-eds for The Intercept??

Yeah, yeah, I know, I know...I'm just a hater with a vendetta against Glenn Greenwald...We've been through this a thousand times before, so let's just skip it this time; because these are serious questions...

To be honest, I'm glad to see GG take such an interest in foreign affairs...Now he has no excuses whatsoever when I question his indifference about what's been going on in Brazil, Russia and China...

and I never get any action in GD (especially when I'm proven right on certain topics)

But I'll try it there anyway...

so aren't we both content?

I could point you in the direction of different writers with similar sentiments, but I'm guessing you'd find some excuse to not read them, either...And I understand...The truth can be painful sometimes...

I mean, I approve of anybody that pisses off the government, but he's not really my type.

He's an excellent writer and reporter and one of the best we've still got. And, that's not many.

I find it surprising that the OP keeps posting diatribes against Greenwald...yet not much response as they would hope, in agreement, is ever forthcoming.

The vitriol is always worrisome to me. We can differ but to be so determined to read something into a reporter's writings that doesn't exist if we have a bias it can sometimes overwhelm the truth.

I'm happy to read the "Intercept" and Glenn and other's writings.

Inquiring minds like to read a diversity of views. Then "thinking minds" can make their own decisions outside the US MSM.. which we now know from sad years of experience is so controlled it's almost unreadable and belongs to the bothe the Existing & Former Generals with Loyalties to many Corporate Owned Think Tanks and War Profiting Corporations and their own Greed to ally with anyone who gives them a voice to support more and more wars.
