(9,895 posts)#1 - Trump will lie approximately 50% of the time, Clinton less than 20%
#2 - Clinton will be eviscerated in the media for everything, Trump will get "boys will be boys" treatment.
#3 - Despite clearly having NOTHING of substance to say, the media narrative will be that he "won" and "had a great night"...
#4 - Despite handily commanding EVERY issue and offering cogent replies, Hillary will "lose" and "came across as harpy"....
These "debates" should be defining moments where candidates are forced to truthfully answer questions about their specific plans for the future. Tonight, only one candidate will treat it with the gravitas it deserves, and she will be excoriated for the trouble.
Trump will act like this is some fucked up version of Survivor or some other worthless TV pap...and the public will lap it up.
Know who he most reminds me of? This guy:
That's Richard Dawkins in "The Running Man", sending the Arnold action hero into a killing pit after he was set up as a traitor...that is Donald J. Trump in a nutshell...a carnival barker who is inexplicably being treated like an actual candidate or potential statesman.
Washington, Adams, Jefferson and the rest are spinning incessantly in their graves...

(9,148 posts)I do agree with you.
Trump could fall asleep in a recliner with druel dripping off his chin throughout the debate and he'd still be the declared the winner.
