What was the Women's March about? My answer: Behavior

This is my answer if I run into anyone who asks this sort of question about the truly incredible events of yesterday.

The actual Mission & Vision and Unity Principles are here. The list of Sponsors and Partners is impressive as are the people,who put this together. The whole operation is astounding.

These sorts of questions are obviously meant to stall, imply disorganization, and demean those silly little women.

So here's how I'd mansplain it especially to guys like me.

It's about behavior. The message to Trump and his kind is to treat people and the community with respect. Stop belittling people and acting like there are ranks of humanity. You want to be a big shot? Well you got it. Step up and act like a real man. Oh and pick up after yourself. You shouldn't have to be told that. The mothers and grandmothers and sisters lead millions of people on the streets to tell you that you're acting like a jerk and they aren't going to take it anymore. Behave yourself.

That's my 2 cents.

1. The reason my family marched was

To stand together with and for people of different colors, backgrounds, income levels, gender identities and orientations, disabilities, health profiles, autonomy, and reproductive rights. To stand against hatred, misogyny, bigotry, and inequality.

2. What is it about....

This great America. What it is now, this moment in time. To remind everyone, especially TPTB, that there is a silent America, but sometimes ya just gotta speak up.
