Newspaper problems

Last edited Tue Jan 24, 2017, 02:02 AM - Edit history (1)

We have subscribed to the Los Angeles Times for over a year. It is costing us $56 a month via autopay and I just discovered it. That is very steep. I intend to cancel and tried to reach them by phone, but there was an "emergency" and their call center was not operating. Also, we began subscribing to the Washington Post online right after the election. Tonight I cannot get the app to respond.

Is anyone here experiencing anything out of the ordinary re: Newspapers?

Curious to how much you pay a year for which paper. $56 a month is ridiculously high. WaPo is only $50 a year.

for daily paper plus Sunday plus digital access. $56 is a bit steep. I suppose newspapers have to charge more these days because they don't get as many paper subscriptions and ad revenue as they used to.

We are going to cut back to weekend deliveries. My hubby loves crossword puzzles. He's doing one online now.

I've tried unintelligible and reinstalling. It starts the intro and then freezes and I can't see anything.

We are getting the L.A. Times delivered 7 days a week. But $56 a month is more than we can afford today.

I wanted to post on Facebook and Twitter, but the app keeps closing when clicking the "share" button.
