1. Sounds like something to watch, but it's sad to see people be so horrifically wrong

I've seen scientific opinions from decades ago saying that there the idea of there being only two genders is an archaic and restricting notion.

"Gender" is also a socially constructed idea, it's not biological at all.

"continuing attempts to change normality." And let me guess, this person just happens to fit the mold for normality 100%, right?

When you say there are only two genders, you're implying that it's a binary. Binaries are things we create from our perceptions.

There's so many things I can say about this, this shouldn't be viewed as a left/right issue, but an issue of freedom from control and allowing self-determination.

if you're terrified of the Nat'l. Geo special, don't watch it. Don't act like the special snowflakes that you are, and demand political correctness of only seeing what you agree with.

3. Nat Geo did a 1-hr program on this topic a couple of years ago ...

I learned a few things from it which really surprised me. Apparently, like many aspects of human behavior -- even those we might believe are inborn or 'natural' -- sexuality and gender are not either/or issues, and people who don't fit easily into the traditional male/female dichotomy are more varied than generally realized. While most people may be "born male" or "born female", those who aren't fall along a spectrum, rather than in a few neat categories. Apparently too much for some people (hateful people especially -- GOP, I'm looking at you) to accept.
