No matter what President Donald Trump seems to do — or how angry he seems to get — the Russia investigation just won’t go away. That became even more apparent over the past 24 hours, when news reports showed matters are only getting worse for the commander in chief.

That’s because the Washington Post reported Wednesday night that special counsel Robert Mueller and his team of all-stars are expanding their Russia probe and now directly investigating whether Trump was trying to obstruct justice when he fired former FBI Director James Comey.

In addition, the New York Times reported yesterday that the investigation is looking into whether Trump associates laundered money they’d received from Russia, presumably as part of a payoff for colluding with Moscow during the campaign. If Trumpworld had been in cahoots with the Kremlin, any likely payments would be done in a secretive, hidden manner.

And to top it all off, there’s a National Security Agency memo detailing a conversation in which Trump said he still doesn’t accept that Russia tried to influence the 2016 election — even though the US intelligence and law enforcement communities unanimously believe it did.

So it wasn’t Trump’s best 24 hours.................................

should I watch this fiasco as it unfolds blow by blow...will my prospective grandchildren demand to know what it was like in the moment,

Or should I just wait till the end of each day's compilation of only the greatest hits?

Ahhh, such a quandary!

It's hard to explain but it was a feeling I got on some kind of psychic level or something. It was different somehow from all the past news filled days. I get intuitive feelings and notice coincidences (I am a Cancer and that is a common trait for our astrological sign).
You forgot to mention that they are also looking into Kushner's financial dealings as well. GOODIE!
I just keep on hoping that his self destructive tweets and the needed leaks keep coming!
This is why last night I posted a question on DU, "Have you or anyone you know placed any bets yet as to when and who will go down as the investigation continues". I couple of weeks ago Bill Maher made a "gentleman's bet" that "it" would be gone by Christmas.

11. Does this feeling suggest the Koch's next-in-line

for president, Pence, is doing down also? That'd be lovely to look forward to in itself.

However, would that make any real difference since the next 3 in line are also "Kochtopus" agents/allies committed to continuing the massive shift of wealth and power to people like them, in the process dismantling most of the federal government while also doing the same in as many states as possible? (Potentially all, if they get control of SCOTUS.)

Not to be a Debbie-Downer, but this war continues through 2018 to 2021, and, universe forbid, possibly beyond. Rump wasn't their choice, but he's most definitely being put to as good use as they can make of him--part of that providing distraction and cover for what's going on.

However I DID know he was going to win the election when I first saw him going down that damn escalator and I said so for 1 1/2 years. You have no idea how much I wish I was wrong. I don't know if it is being a realist and/or being aware of the priorities and values of the average American combined with their lack of interest in the world and history as a whole.

Could he not declare bankruptcy of this version of the US and start again?
It's always worked before, especially if you get expensive lawyers and create a new set of chaos every day.

Time to invent a new illness.

That was a concern of mine, that he would try to use that tragedy to distract from his Russian scandals.
