Where Eric and Tony were staying went with them into Germany for the day (just across the border)and was surprised that people knew Tony there since they didn't in France. That is not what I have heard and read over the years. When my sister went to Paris and was going to eat at a restaurant that Tony had been to, you couldn't get a table. He is known and loved all over the world.
