- The KGB would never have seen Trump as a prospective spy. He was more of an influencer, to be used to spread pro-russian propaganda.
- After the cold War, Trump Tower attracts the russian mob. Oligarchs invest big-time in his business and help him with loans.
- Interview with James Comey: The US intelligence community had come to the conclusion that Russia had influenced the election and that they would do so again. But at the first meeting between Trump and Comey, Trump had no interest in doing anything about it. What made this operation so extraordinary was the breadth of the tools Russia used. Cyber-attacks, hacking, social media.
- Mueller has indicted 12 Russians who shall be responsible for the cyber-attacks, as well the street-adresses from which the allegedly operated.
- Interview Clinton Watts: The hacking-attack began in late 2015. It attacked anybody critical of Russia: politicians, organizations, media-people... They tried to find compromising material to influence politics in 2016. They used servers in the US and created fake social-media accounts with american-sounding names.

- Clinton Watts: There have always been russian operations to influence US elections, but somethign has changed in the last few years. Money and cyberspace. With the internet, it's much easier for russia to operate in foreign countries and cheaper.
- Comey: Before his inauguration, a US intelligence delegation briefed Trump, just like they had briefed Obama. Unlike the Obama-administration, the Trump-team asked no questions about how to prevent this in the future. They immediately started making plans how to use these past events to their personal advantage, which was "very odd". After the briefing, Comey stayed behind to inform Trump about the salacious Steele-dossier. Prostitutes in a russian hotel. A conversation that was uncomfortable for Comey.
- 4 months later Trump fires Comey and one day later he meets the russian ambassador and the russian foreign minister in the WH. Except for Trump, no Americans are in the room. American press has not been allowed in. The photos have been shot by a russian photographer. Russia reported the content of their conversation: Trump had been under pressure from Comey, but Trump had fired him.
- Comey didn't mind being insulted, however it was very strange to him that Trump was alone with Russians in the WH and that he trashtalked a fellow American to a hostile country.
- Steele. The Steele-dossier.

- Carter Page: The west has prevented progress with their hypocritical support of ideas concerning democracy, inequality, corruption and regime-change.
- Carter Page had connections to three russian agents operating in the US, starting in 2013. In the opinion of US intelligence, he tried to become a bona fide russian secret agent. The FBI warned him multiple times to stay away from russian spies. And 2016 he turned up in Trump's campaign.
- George Papadopolous drunkenly bragged to the australian ambassador in a London bar about his contacts to the Kremlin. The ambassador told australian authorities and they told the FBI. That launched the counterintelligence-operation against the Trump-campaign.
- Papadopolous' contact in the Kremlin was Joseph Mifsud, a professor of law. Nowadays he has disappeared.
- US intelligence thinks that Mifsud was a "cut-out", a seemingly independent liaison, a typical russian method.
- On April 26th 2016 Mifsud tests Papadopolus how receptable the Trump-campaign is to a cooperation. He told Papadopolous that Russia has dirt on Hillary clinton. Emails, thousands of emails. At a time when nobody knew about the hacked emails. Papadopolous later retold this meeting in his signed confession to the FBI.
- Papadopolous got arrested. Mifsud has diappeared.
