The Deadline That Could Hand Trump the Election

Lots of states, historically, have turned in their electoral vote counts late, and they were still counted. This law has never been enforced. It’s not worth worrying about.

etc. etc. etc. What sinister purposes do these people have? Don't you think that the states and all other territories voting are well aware of this fact, and thus, what's the purpose of stirring up hysteria here on DU, when 99.999999% of us have no role in gathering vote tallies, reporting on vote tallies to state entities, etc.

isn't done by 41 days (why such an arbitrary number?) after the election, which will be Dec. 14th, the candidate ahead in electoral votes then wins. The article further goes on to say that trump most likely will be ahead by then with all the expected delays.

I call bullshit. Why in the hell is trump supposed to be ahead by then? There's no basis for such speculation.

this is unneeded info...the post-election weeks will be chaotic enough...geez

our job is to make sure we get out the vote period . Only those who are prepared to loose worry what the enemy will do
