President Donald Trump has sparked outrage across the security industry after saying nobody gets hacked.
Trump made the comments on October 19 during a campaign event in Tucson, Arizona when referring to Steve Scully, the C-SPAN political editor who admitted he had falsely claimed his Twitter account was hacked.
In the video clip shared across Twitter, President Trump said: Nobody gets hacked. To get hacked, you need somebody with 197 IQ and he needs about 15% of your password.
Trumps comments have sparked mixed feelings across the cybersecurity industry confusion, amusement, outrage and fear of the damage they could cause. As Jake Moore, cybersecurity specialist at ESET points out, any words alluding to being unhackable leaves you on dodgy ground.

And doesnt it then follow that Hillarys e-mails were all forgeries, seeing as how nobody gets hacked?

Normally he comes out with obviously dumb stuff when there's something big he wants to distract or deflect from, etc. So is there a soon to be breaking story about a Trump account or government agency being hacked recently that he wants to pretend didn't happen so he can say that the info is 'fake'?

1. Those that have been hacked,
and
2. Those that can be hacked.
I doubled up on my computer and online security afterwards.
