producing combat soldiers turned civilian and now vets the police departments nationwide accepted many veterans and whether consicouslly or unconsicously accepted many RW zealots with itchy trigger fingers trained in the military for those american conflict areas where violence solves all arguments over politics. Hell NYT called it a while ago.

Lyndon Johnson's Kerner Commission(1967) suppressed systemic racism problems in policing in it's Report. The white-wash was beginning. The veneer of civilty and tranquil peaceful americans streets was stripped after Watts(1965), Detroit(1967) Newark(1968).

Yet all police departments have continued to grow into the monolithic armed camps they represent today with systemic racism still intact and applied heavily in minority communities. African-american specifically. No gender or age is out of bounds to these American Gestapo and SS. Lethal force is an implied assent. Blue Wall of silence is the unwritten directive. This reality has been with the African-American communitie(s) since racial inequality began against the freed slave(s) in this country.

In 4 days hopefully the healing of our nation begins. 3+years of white nationalistic supremacist bullshit is enough. America does have a huge population that are against the strong arm tactics of white supremacist/nationalist/terrorists posing as police and militias. The fickle americans lapped up trumps supremacist bullshit like hungry hogs at the trough. We stood relatively quiet on the sudeline watching a terror grow. Jackbooted thugs under local/state/federal authority of a badge and gun are in place and in charge in many multiple police departments, nationwide. Night of the Rittenhouse incident in Kenosha provided me sharp relief on this point.

The police departments have also devolved furthering the us vs them mentality and now that ideology and rhetoric is encouragd at the highest level of goverment specifically when encountering and engaging with the African-American. Both legislativly and judicially. The Federal court system ending with the USSC is tainted with the mcconnell/trump brand racist, sexists and originalists.

White Liberals and Centrists, along with racially diverse voting blocks blocks based on gender, sex, along with other preference groups have faith that OUR PARTY has this. Hope.Vote

How is it even possible, in this country, that a person like Donald Trump could even get into the Presidency? A business failure, three failed marriages because of his own disgusting, immoral behavior, now calling on extremist hate groups to disrupt everything if he doesn't win? Our educational system has become so corporate oriented that we have failed to teach our students respect for our government institutions which means people just don't vote and they don't have the intellectual ability to discern the truth and think for themselves.

I'd have to look it up to make sure, but I think it was Alexis de Tocqueville who predicted that America would not last more than 50 years after the second world war, because its internal divisions would not handle the wealth and power it had achieved. Maybe he missed it by a few years.
