You're probably not seeing the way the legal community is in shock at how bad Trump's lawyers are.

Folks, if you're not following a whole bunch of lawyers on here you're probably not seeing the way the collective legal community is in shock at how bad Trump's lawyers are. Even if you are, it's probably hard to grasp the detail of how truly bad it is. Link to tweet

1. So funny!
Imagine you moved to a new town and are going to see a new doctor for the first time. And when he walks in, he has his stethoscope dangling out of his ass. And then he pulls it out and says "OK, I want to take your temperature now" and moves to place it on your forehead.

2. I have seen some really bad attorneys in my time as an attorney
so honestly not all that surprised.
Someone has to graduate from Tier Four and unaccredited law schools. |

6. I don't think it was their education that was the problem. I think they
were so poisoned with Trumpism that they lost their minds. And they weren't really trying to win, anyhow; it was all just performative litigation intended to impress the MAGAts and delay the certification of the election. So maybe they didn't care if they were producing legal bullshit.

3. Oh, hell, yes.
The analogy in the tweet: "Imagine you moved to a new town and are going to see a new doctor for the first time. And when he walks in, he has his stethoscope dangling out of his ass. And then he pulls it out and says "OK, I want to take your temperature now" and moves to place it on your forehead."
As a long-retired lawyer I've been looking at the whole shit show and reading the court documents with horror and amazement, like how did these people complete law school and pass the bar exam? For that matter, how do they get dressed by themselves? They must have advertised on Craigslist for people who somehow became lawyers and who have most, if not all, of the following qualifications: No recent experience in federal court, preferably none at all. Failed the bar exam at least once. Flunked first-year civil procedure. Flunked con law. At least one disciplinary charge. At least one Rule 11 sanction. A serious substance abuse problem. Civil commitment to a psychiatric institution. Seriously. I've seen some silly business in court but this is weapons-grade incompetence. In-fucking-credible. |

4. Of your list-
I had diploma privilege so I never took the bar.
I dealt with my alcohol problem and have been sober for over 35 years. I would not piss on a Republican if they were on fire, so I would never have made the team anyway. |

5. Yes, but you didn't flunk the bar
and you don't have a current substance abuse problem. So you wouldn't qualify.

9. Good point
He and his spawn are gonna need a bunch of lawyers. If they’re as incompetent as this current batch, the grifters are in some deep shit. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch.
