How Doug Jones Brought KKK Church Bombers to JusticeJones helped convict two men nearly 40 years after their crimes.

Although Jones was only a boy himself when the bombing happened, the government didnt release the FBIs evidence against these men for decades.
By the time the government finally declassified the these files, Jones had been appointed a U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama by President Bill Clinton, and was able to prosecute the case.

They just see him as a moderate Dem who lost his Senate seat.

Honestly, I google bios & backgrounds of pols, journalists & opinion writers who move into the headlines.
AG is a pretty big headline to not want to dig deeper about a choice of such a high profile position.
That and twitter often leads to a curious hint that makes one look further.
Maybe its just a weird quirk of mine.

All hate groups that threaten our long fought for, & hard won Democracy need to be contained within a box.
Considering the threat that Trump's KKK brought upon this country, I can see where Biden is prioritizing with his AG pick.
