and/or if the Republicans can win the presidency in 2024 or 2028 it's over. The only hope is if the Democrats can get it together, work together, and hold it together.

The senate race in Georgia right now is a huge key. But it appears that Democrats are holding a slight edge. Biden did carry Georgia and it is clear that the effort is being made to get every one of those voters back to the polls.

The Trump cult isn't going to change its mind but I think the GOP will split with a good portion of it moving away from Trumpism. That will give the Democrats the opportunity to control the government for a long time, effectively shutting out any GOP candidates.
