(7,447 posts)this was the last straw post for me of folks talking about the end of Democracy and moving to Canada and we are guaranteed to lose and no more Democrats ever.
It makes this place ridiculous and unworthy of participation at the moment.
I'll check back in later to see if things get better, but right now, seeing how easily people give up around here is sickening.

(9,478 posts)Got upset when some of us suggested that there was a real threat that Republicans were going to try steal 2020 by not certifying the election, or even trying a coup?
I am sorry that thw reality of the situation is uncomfortable, but we better have contingency plans for the different ways these things could go. Now that the Republicans know that their base wants to put liberals in pine boxes, things are not going to get easier.
