Republicans plot to steal White House

OPINION

There's a fiendish cleverness in perpetrating a fraud in broad daylight, at the same time as you tell the people that it must be done to guard against - you guessed it - fraud.

The reality of voter fraud in the US is that it is virtually non-existent. It has been known to happen, but studies reveal its probability is less than that of being struck by lightning - just 0.0009 per cent in Washington State and a very remote 0.00004 per cent in Ohio.

So welcome to the state of Florida, where the state emblem is the hanging chad. Remember, it was here that just 537 votes in the recount drama of 2000 threw the presidency to George W. Bush.

Nothing can be left to chance. Like about 20 other Republican-controlled states, Florida has gone all out to stifle the likely Democratic vote before the presidential poll in November. Using the Bush rule of thumb, a tweak to the law that shaves the Democratic vote by just a few hundred at elections where about 10 million get to vote, is halfway to throwing the outcome.

Po-faced state governors and attorneys-general talk about each attack on the electoral roll rules as necessary to protect the integrity of the electoral process. But they are in the business of stealing votes.

(The day before, Ted was told to get a check-up for insurance)
He came to work in filthy, old, worn out clothes. The copy-writer started to ask..

"Ted why are you wearing those...(pause) "Oh christ, Ted is going to the free clinic for a check-up"

Ted was recalling his childhood days to impress this lady (Who was raised on a farm)
He says "When I visited my grandpa's farm his mare was about to give birth.
We stayed up all night and in the wee hours of the morning out came 4 little baby horsies"

The news in the United States is fiendishly biased in favor of the rich and the Republican Party to the point that the American media hide the facts from the people. Yet the rich and the Republicans will go on the air trying to tell us that the media is liberal and only bash conservatives.

Our conservatives are psychopathic: they play the victim while acting like the victimizer.

I got pilloried because I said that Debbie Wasserman Schulz, the Democratic Bigwig who is from Florida, needed to put more PUBLIC pressure. Yes, behind the scenes stuff is ghreat, but we need this to get onto Talking head land, or else we are sunk. Can't she get on rachel freiggin Maddow?

wipe out the national debt in this country in one big swoop. Just think what this country could do with that money if they helped pay the debt. The country could pay them back in forms of tax deductions.

they own it...the easy thing to do would just cancel the debt...send them a letter in the mail that says "it has come to our attention that you have not paid your fair share and unless you show otherwise at a hearing the bonds you have are worthless and no further payment will be made...you have 30 days to request a hearing....and bring all your financial information..

But I believe in the principles of the Jubilee as an economic tool....in a jubilee year all debt is forgiven so the government would suddenly be free of debt and so would all the people...and suddenly you would see a glut of spending...a giant sucking sound if you will as all that money was spent....I am sure restaurants and bars would be the best business going.

And I know it is a dream...but not an impossible one...and in fact was used in biblical times by the nation of Israel...but it only lasted a few hundred years until they made the mistake of getting themselves a king.

I was asked here in NATO-land what I thought the outcome of the 2004 election would be.

I said Kerry wins and Bush remains in office. They asked how that could possibly be? I said watch,
especially the vote-counting process in Ohio. After the result was announced, my European colleagues
said they now knew what I meant, and agreed, sadly, that my prediction was accurate.

Bush (as in the Bush family) wants to still be in office as president.
therefore-long as Jeb is not on the ticket it is not in Bush family(and their still millions of supporters and billions of dollar friends) interest to have another republican in office in 2012 and 2016(and depending on VP choice the 8 years to follow).

No way, as Jeb then has no path.

(of course if Jeb is VP, toss this thought out the window).

The powers that be (Bush41,43,Jeb and the boys), would rather Obama win now, and they get a better chance in 2016 to get the entire machine together.

Obama doesn't need either Florida or Ohio to win election. So stealing both won't change the outcome
(in fact- Florida is so blatant at what they are doing, some say they want to be caught, and they want THIS Supreme Court to rule so that (in their warped minds) the Dems won't attempt to do as the repubs are doing when they win back all the positions and the Supreme Court changes to a liberal majority.

in fact, with the aid of think tanks, the media has managed to shame folks regarding any conspiracy theory, therefore conspiracies are never brought to light.

on the "Truthers" that sure made a difference on any more evidence being presented about 9-11. It didn't matter that many professional physicists and demolition experts were the vocal majority of the truthers. Now Maher is "the de-facto head of the Democratic party"......
Of course, that is just a conspiracy theory...

It happened in Ohio in 2004, and it will happen in Wisconsin on Tuesday.

The Fix is in. Reagan started it, but W turned the keys to power over to the likes of the Kochs. They have the resources to assure their victories this year.
