I was a little worried about where the congressional commission and the justice department might wind up on January 6th, and that it might fall short. I'm not worried now. When it comes down to it, I think there are at least as many Republicans in Congress who see that their party fails with Trump and has a better chance without him. But if not, well, I have confidence there will be justice anyway.

January 6th was the straw that broke the camel's back as far as any remote chance Trump might have had to get back to the White House. There are too many Americans who won't permit that now.

What excuse has anyone heard?

Their behavior demonstrates a level of selfishness that is epidemic, the result of way too much prosperity, disrespect and disdain for education to the point that they can't think for themselves and have hatred and resentment of anyone else who doesn't think like they do.

Are they not capable of seeing that what protects us from destruction is the fact that our government utilizes our national resources to provide the kind of protection necessary to keep us safe and if our national unity dissolves, the ability we have to protect ourselves dissolves as well? Are they so ignorant and so out of touch with the real world that they cannot see that the Civil War they keep threatening will simply open the door for someone like Vladimir Putin to achieve his political goal?"
