Star Trek: Picard has shut down production after more than 50 cast and crew members tested positive for COVID-19.

Filming has been suspended since Monday, the show's first day back from the holiday hiatus, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Paramount Plus series reportedly has one of the biggest crews working in television today, with over 450 people on set.

While no specifics were given about who tested positive, though the outbreak was said to have spread to multiple 'zones' on the set, including Zone A which features the primary cast.
