How the Supreme Court rules during a pandemic shows what may happen next

The Supreme Court on Thursday undermined the Biden administration's effort to stop the spread of Covid-19 among workers and, equally important, revealed how much conservative justices want the federal government out of American life.

Justices on the right-wing expressed concerns of US agencies regulating "the daily lives and liberties of millions of Americans," as Neil Gorsuch put it, and that "the Executive Branch already touches nearly every aspect of Americans' lives," as Samuel Alito wrote.

"These cases are not about the efficacy or importance of COVID--19 vaccines," Justice Clarence Thomas added in one of the paired controversies. "They are only about whether (a federal agency) has the statutory authority to force healthcare workers, by coercing their employers, to undergo a medical procedure they do not want and cannot undo."

Their views, intensifying in recent years, are likely to result in limits on federal power over public health and safety, labor protections and environmental safeguards. Immediately on the horizon, in cases to be argued in February, are questions about the reach of the Environmental Protection Agency to curtail power plant emissions.

1. How does the court then reason to keep vaccine requirements for polio? Measles?

On what legal basis do you distinguish vaccines public schools have long required from the Covid vaccine?

Not that there's any logic in siding with the virus during a pandemic, but it's hard to find any logic that keeps them after this ruling.

Those childhood diseases are going to start roaring back before these fascists are through.

2. It is pretty obvious there was/is a longtime effort to dismantle the U.S. Constitution so the

conservative billionaires who do consider the U.S. to now be their special fifedom to use to rule the world and space, no matter the cost to the people and the planet and space via their corporations that are wealthier than many nations. They are starting at home by creating division and chaos (unchecked pandemic).

I call it the billionaires revolution and consider the 2016 Election theft to be part of the dismantling.

There shall be no government of by and for, the people. The people shall be ruled instead of by law, by the demands for profit and wealth for a few.

3. The Mediocre (formerly Supreme) Court

guaranteed the Constitutional right to deliberately inflict others with a deadly virus. Essentially they made a political decision that will damage countless American in an area where they have no qualifications, public health in the face of a pandemic. The Trump Court is a colossal and dangerous failure.
