A West Virginia Republican state lawmaker angry the anti-choice lobby in his state is supporting legislation that includes exceptions for rape and incest bragged that he is voting against the bill because it is not a complete and total ban on abortion.
News outlets call it a strict, and near-total abortion ban.

(9,670 posts)Killing someone in self-defense is a defense against murder. Why aren't these zealots trying to achieve purity in those laws too?

(9,670 posts)If it's okay to act in self-defense if one's life is threatened, wouldn't that apply to a fetus as well?
Hmmmm.

(3,489 posts)His answer to the question:
if you go out in a burning building and you can save almost all the children but not all of them would you do it?
is Id burn the building.
Not Id save as many as I could like any normal human being would say.
Not if I cant save them all, Im not going to choose who to save like someone with extreme fundamentalist views might say.
Not it is up to god to decide who will be saved like a religious nut would say.
But Id burn the building like a psychopathic murderer would say.
Mr. Ected
(9,670 posts)We'll have to remind them to burn the building.
