Nat Geo: Pictures: Centralia Mine Fire, at 50, Still Burns With Meaning

Actually, this is slideshow with articles is about much more than Centralia, PA, it is about mine fires from different locations around the world and the US. I had no idea that the 2002 Colorado wildfire was caused by an underground mine fire there.

Very interesting pictures and articles.
