Founded in 1862 as the first territorial capital of Montana, the abandoned and silent town still boasts 60 structures - all of which can be explored by history lovers of the Old West.

Went on a camping trip through Montana and had a family reunion in nearby Dillon.
In fact, I caught two huge trout in Grasshopper Creek that we fried in egg/cracker crumbs in a cast iron skillet over our campfire coals. Beautiful, beautiful country with some of the best trout fishing anywhere!
