Samira Calehr wrapped her arms around her 11-year-old son, who'd been oddly agitated for days, peppering her with questions about death, about his soul, about God. Her normally cheerful, well-traveled boy should have been excited. His silver suitcase sat in the living room, ready to go. Jetskiing and surfing in paradise awaited. But something was off. A day earlier, while playing soccer, Miguel had burst out: "How would you choose to die? What would happen to my body if I was buried? Would I not feel anything because our souls go back to God?"

And now, the night before his big trip, Miguel refused to release his mother from his grasp.

There is simply no basis to see them as anything but fear and coincidence.

3. Eerie premonitions of many things happen, but usually the eerie premonition stays

with the one person that is having them. Every time I board a plane, a thought passes though my mind (quite quickly) ahhh this could be it..but I never go further with it. I fly to the Philippines every year for 5 years (28 hours in 3 planes) but i have never really had a premonition and wouldn't do much if I did. It's normal to be concerned about your own welfare.

With this child, I think it very well could have been a premonition since he voiced and physically did things that made the mother fearful.

4. I can't say it's more than coincidence, but it is tragic either way.

His poor mother will go to her grave thinking about it. It is so sad in so many ways. For once the Yahoo! comment section isn't littered with hateful trolls.

6. I had something happen to me once that could not have been a coincidence.

A friend of mine had been out of the country till the night before, so we hadn't had any contact for weeks. That morning she had a very specific -- and weird -- dream about my youngest in his bedroom. I was also in the dream. By the time she called me that afternoon, a life-threatening event involving my son had already happened. When she told me she had had a dream about my son that morning, I shut up. I knew she had had premonitions before but I never took them seriously. So this time I wanted to hear exactly what she had to say without any clues from me. What she told me next sent a chill up my spine. I took notes because it was so unbelievable.

I asked her why she didn't call me when she woke up (which was a couple hours before it happened.) She said it was because I told her, in the dream, that everything was fine, that my son was fine. And she woke up convinced that he was.

And he was. But he might not have been. And that dream will always be a mystery to me.

With regards to the rest of your post, I don't buy the Russian narrative one bit. I believe they accidentally shot down a plane they thought were supplying guys on the border.

I believe it is a farce. There are no eyewitness reports of a fighter being in the area. But plenty of eyewitness and photographic evidence of the Buk.

I do not believe that the Ukrainian forces had Buk in the area as they had no reason to shoot planes down.
