Rick and Karen Garver Santorum are hypocrites of first magnitude. Karen lived with a college mentor without benefit of clergy for 8 years--a gyn doctor who performed abortions. When she left this relationship in her mid 20s, she was liberated beyond measure.

Rick Santorum was very much the party boy when he was at Univ of Pittsburgh in the late 1970s-early 1980s. That's how he met Karen--both were into the scenes on Forbes Ave and Walnut St in Shadyside. I was a grad student at Pitt, and often saw them--not together--but we all knew them--and for sure neither was abstinent! Fornication big time--it was a local joke.

I have nothing against someone who changes his/her mind based on new understandings, but the Santorums are liars and present themselves dishonestly. Santorum wants to have his church make illegal exactly all the things he did.

When Joe Biden let it slip on Sunday's Meet the Press that he's now completely comfortable with gay people marrying each other, he attributed the nation's shift on gay rights to the trailblazing gay-themed sitcom Will & Grace. "I think Will & Grace probably did more to educate the American public than almost anything anybody's ever done so far," Biden told David Gregory...

Debra Messing, one of the show's titular stars, told us how it felt to hear the vice-president say that. "I think it was one of the proudest moments of my entire life, besides the birth of my son...(W)e knew when we were doing Will & Grace that we were doing something important that was having social effect and political effect, but to have the vice-president of the United States...say that our show did more than anything else is an incredibly humbling thing..."

He was an example of someone who never got to marry Jim Neighbors character Gomer Pyle to become "Rock Pyle".

(Sorry,...old joke I once heard in a gay bar.)

''Will and Grace'' is no mirror into the lives of gay men and women .. or the LGBT community. As a gay man, I could never identify with ''Will and Grace''; funny yes, but it's a sitcom for god's sake. The sad thing about the issue is that straight people seem to think that ''Will and Grace'' is emblematic of the gay lifestyle. LOL So ridiculous. I mean use ''Bareback Mountain'', that's probably closer to reality than ''Will and Grace''.

A definitive closet case. in my life experience The only people who are soooooo concerned about Gay; sex, associations, people, Marriage etc. and express such venom are those with hang ups of their own, or Filled with self loathing. Oh and Fred Phelps, he has "I am so scared of being found out" all over his attitude. Think About Mr Segregation now and forever (Strom Therman) and the young house maid he conceived a child with.
