when I was in college and walked out of the screening totally bewildered. I had no clue what the film was about. Then I read the book in a Comp Lit class, then went back and saw the movie again and realized how brilliant it was.

Both Kafka and Orwell were visionaries. Unfortunately.

But this movie showed the acting ability of Anthony Perkins, and the brilliance of Orson Wells in the cinematography...the visuals are stunning.
