Women seem to be the easiest group to direct hate against.

Too often we don't stand together, because some women fear it will mean harm to their husbands or sons.

I don't agree with that kind of outlook, nor the betrayal of women who stand with these fundy fanatic men.

People need to realize: the fight is not really about the Right to Life vs. the Right to Choose. It is about the right to coerce. Too many people have been brainwashed into believing that it is o.k. to impose their religious beliefs on the lives and bodies of other people, even when we believe differently than they do. That is so very anti-freedom.

This whole disgusting crusade is about gaining dictatorship and control over women (the majority of the population!), control over our bodies and our very lives. And this crusade is based on the attitude that Dad (God) loves them more than anyone else, so that gives them the right to trample on the rights of everyone else. This belief that 'Dad' loves them more is puerile, and arrogant. The people who are being manipulated to support these kinds of issues never seem to understand that the agenda of the ones pushing this crap is to provide more cannon fodder for the wars, and more low-wage (slave) labor for the wealthy.

It also serves as a great distraction, preventing people from paying attention to the many major issues that need to be addressed (but, of course, we can't possibly inconvenience the wealthy).

Wake up! The social issues are just a red herring. This underhanded and misleading business is about more money and power for the wealthy. Follow the money!
