You have to ask what can we do to stop the killing and make it better....nothing. It's tragic. It's terrible, but it is out of OUR control. We are doing all we can to try to put a stop to it. The battle will not be won with bullets and bombs. Diplomacy and a flexible strategy are essential to put a stop to the senseless killing.

This was meant for the post beneath my post. My bad.

This man still has my undying admiration and support.

A lady saw me wearing my "Obama-t shirt" under my jacket the other day, and asked "I like your t-shirt. How do you feel about Obama now?" I know where she was coming from. After I responded with "I'm pretty darn happy with him." ..it dawned on me; she was being sarcastic. With ALL the crap fox-nonsense, the reichwing talk radio, the repuKKKes in Congress and daryl issa/mcCarthy have been pumping into the heads of anyone who will listen - he is STILL doing a good job. We avoided the Great Depression II; we have a strong auto-industry; OBL is dead; we haven't gone to war against any nations in the 6 years he has been in office (even though the neocons want war with Iran and North Korea); and he is one smart, measured and good man.

You may not like the NSA program. But it's here to stay. We need to keep checks and balances on it, and we WILL have some problems with it from time to time - just like with the IRS problem; but it IS HERE TO STAY! There is no turning back the clock.

You may not like that we lost an ambassador and three other Americans in Benghazi; but we have lost Americans to terror EVERY YEAR since the beginning of modern times. It was a tragedy, but we have had greater tragedies, and more of them in years past in recent times.

Yes! I'm damn satisfied with President Obama. I would vote for him again anyday. Would you rather have the repuKKKes IN CONTROL of the House and the White House? He will be one of our greatest Presidents in modern time. He deserves our respect and support. If you don't approve of something on his watch, then take that up. But this man is a good man, and a damn good President!

Generally when the President gives an interview on TV there's an agenda...Why don't we expect more from the people we elect, especially Democrats? Shouldn't they be expected to address questions from people outside the MSM from both ends of the political spectrum? A lot of us are liberals, when is the last time you've seen this or any president have to address questions from a liberal journalist? What would this interview look like if instead of TV personality Charlie Rose asking questions that were probably submitted beforehand; Chomsky, Taibbi or Moyers were asking the questions?

How about this one, "Remembering Mussolini's quote, "Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power." Why should the American people trust the growing alliance between government and for-profit corporations when it comes to national security, health care, even the food and water they consume. Doesn't this go against the grain of traditional Democratic party values? In the end who "really" benefits from such an alliance, the public or for-profit corporations? I think a good argument could be made that the public hasn't benefited from the trillions we've spent on middle eastern wars, or allowing the health insurance industry to profit off of basic health care. Now we're spending billions collecting personal information from innocent Americans?

I'm sure Chomsky or Moyers would come up with better questions than this, but it's a start.
