1. Thom... Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan is taking a page from the same playbook...

... and calling protestors in Taksim Square in Gezi Park "terrorists" who stand in the way of his son-in-law that Erdogan's government gave a contract to clear Gezi Park for an Ottoman era themed mall. And this government is arguably more Islamic in its following than the secular protestors he calls "terrorists"...

This mis-used term all over the world needs to be confronted head on if we are going to have any kind of constructive grass roots movements to effect change. It needs to be called out for what it isn't, and the media that doesn't do this also need to be called out as well for not doing their job.
