First Gay Marriage in History

I posted this earlier but in the wake of today victory for marriage equality I am doing this again.

Despiste what the right wing says the first gay marriage occurred in the year 1,000,000 BC according to Mel Brooks.

how did the boys keep the species going? Were they mother fuckers or did they pick up a couple of apes and through some great teaching turn them into humans? Never heard the second part of the story.
