3. The Accuweather satelite temperature map clearly shows...

....the rest of the Northern latitudes warmer than normal for the last month, the Arctic air-mass pulled down over North America, and warmer air pulled in to take it's place. (found on Accuweather.com - hit the climate button at the top of the page)
