Maddow: Did Christie Just Announce He’s Not Running for President in 2016? - video link

VIDEO here: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/maddow-did-christie-just-announce-he%E2%80%99s-not-running-for-president-in-2016/

Rachel Maddow noticed something interesting about comments Chris Christie made on Thursday; comments that made Maddow believe that Christie intimated rather strongly that he will not be running for president in 2016 after all, despite all the speculation surrounding a potential run.

What made Maddow think this? During a speech about ongoing Sandy recovery efforts, Christie said, “I want to assure the people of New Jersey one thing. I was born here, I was raised here, I’m raising my family here, and this is where I intend to spend the rest of my life.”

I wouldn't take the Sandy comment as anything.

If he's not running, and he really means it, he'd say "I am not running."

But now that he's guilty of participating in the coverup of Bridge(t)-Gate at the very least, he has to switch to a diet of humble pie (a metaphor, not a fat joke).

Maybe he's setting his sights a little lower, like to senator.
