This is not only a Canadian disappointment - it is a corporately controlled American one... MrMickeysMom Jan 2014 #3

I once looked at Canada with such admiration, but not so much anymore. Canada was not corrupt like here in America, but between the koch brothers and big oil they are on a path of ruining your country.

this needs to called out in every nation across the world. Wake up and look at the damage we're inflicting on the earth. It doesn't have to be this way.

Did NAFTA open the flood gates to corporately controlled regulation and destruction of natural resources? I'd say, YES...

I think everything that has led up to this pipeline was the ultimate outcome of trade agreements that NEVER should have seen the light of day.

Let's open up our tired eyes...

We are destroying the earth for a short term quarterly Oil and Gas industrial model profit. It's true… it's piped out to other nations. Watch how much destruction we already cause by transferring fossil fuels from oil drilling in the Gulf, and now, this "Hiroshima" of the Tar Sands.

Canadian Broadcasting Corp. (publicly owned) for
letting the tar sands execs trash Neil Young on air, while
not letting Young respond in any meaningful way.
Reminds me of how the U.S. media treat Snowdon, Manning, etc.
Quite shameful - CBC has become a corporate shill and abandoned
journalistic integrity.
