Wendy Davis Did Not Exaggerate Her Life Story

This interview done by Maria Shriver for NBC's Today Show proves Wendy Davis did not exaggerate her life story. In the piece, you will notice that Shriver stated that by 19 Davis was "getting divorced". It was not said that she was already divorced. Later Davis' older daugther Amber mentioned that she remembered the trailer they lived in and that she spent a lot of time with her grandparents. Shiver later mentioned that Davis worked two jobs to put food on the table, got remarried, and decided to go to Harvard.

So, it seems Davis never claimed she was divorced at 19. She always acknowledged that her parents helped her along the way. In addition, she let it be known that she had remarried before she attended Harvard. So, she never claimed that she made it through Harvard on her own.

over her age at the time of her divorce is the most damaging part of this. And I don't think the republicans do, either.
