a baby dolphin born at the Ft. Worth zoo once. There was mom and another dolphin there in the tank with mom. The baby just shot out and the other dolphin directed the baby to the top for air. Even got to watch it nurse for the first time. It was the coolest thing I ever saw. I must have been in the 4th or 5th grade.

The docent said that when a baby has trouble, the other dolphins will take turns getting it to the surface for air. I never looked at dolphins the same way after that-I don't care how many nets they tear. They have just as much right to eat as we do. They have a right to exist.
