Rachel Maddow - 'Why we did it' Part 1, US thirsty for energy (Original Post) Galraedia Mar 2014 OP
No, it was for oil. If it were just for energy, there are cheaper ways than this war. valerief Mar 2014 #1
Why do you think people involved in the oil business would want oil? CJCRANE Mar 2014 #3

It would be nice to think Bushco went into Iraq to install solar panels and wind turbines but that seems unlikely.

They need to be constantly reminded of the the WMD lies.

Very important things.

But, yeah, as for the overall war-for-oil thing, the only people who don't know that's true are the one's who simply won't admit it is true.

Convenient for the oil folks?

Considering the depth and breadth of spying that was revealed with the Manning and Snowden exposés, I find it hard to believe that 9/11 was a complete surprise.

I wonder what the 28 redacted pages of the 9/11 report say?

Is to tell the truth about 911

First know that I like and respect Racheal Maddow for her hard work in reporting news. It’s the system she is in that likely makes it difficult to tell a really true story of the corruption crime in profiteering that took place in the Bush administration holding the door open that gave easy access to terrorist to complete their mission. Yes, Bush had very accurate intelligence that confirms an atrocity is about to happen, and needed that reason to go to war.

Those of us that worked through the noise of nay sayers, many convinced that our political parties are connected to the Arabs indulged in corrupt profiteering is a true thought. However, evidence is over whelming before the Bush years as President, Bush is business partners to the Bin Laden family is well documented yet the media suppressed it all. It is so dirty and ugly the media for good reason has lost its cultural capital as a viable resource for honest information in broadcasting.

Besides condemning the why of going into Iraq, mainstream Journalism will have to fess up honestly tell the true story of those so called new documents hidden from America. What would be really cute in this story is an in depth study into how it takes so long to find such recently uncovered documentation.

From my view after finding out Mika Brzezinski has a brother as a key player in the Booze Allen Hamilton Public Relations firm during the Bush years that contracted for the so called “Metadata” file corruption currently in news. Sheesh, that to me suggests an inside knowledge for that decade to steer the news for advantage of the one percenters. Remember that political girl who said she was not a witch, she could have just said “not like Mika.”

It gets worse, now knowing the famous Andrea Mitchell anchor and news caster on MSNBC is wife of the former Federal Reserve Board Chairman Allen Greenspan. Here, Ms. Mitchell undoubtedly privy to trillion dollar deals that the average Journalist could only dream about is steering news. Likely with inside knowledge, political profiteering corruption in levels that helped bailouts and corporate interest scale to new levels of profiteering.

At least Ed Shultz evolved to show America the down side of the XL pipeline. To change his mind, to stop supporting the XL pipeline to move caustic hazmat through the core of Americas precious resource, “water”. It’s bad enough our culture is caviler in shopping for bottled water while our water pipelines are depreciated needing replacement. With that said to also respect Rahm Emanuel mayor of Chicago to pledge to build the best water supply for America. I wish the mayor would call out this XL pipeline as bogus, anti-healthcare, for a poor water supply counters any healthcare system.
