with these precious pookems all day long I would say this is how I feel. After 25 years, I am hitting the road. At least I can make serious money the next 5 years to make up somewhat for being underpaid all those years. Why did I do it...I loved my job. Why am I quiting...I don't enjoy it anymore.

I never forget the day, some parent came to school, over some kid mouthing off, and after a short discussion, the parent says, "Would you please talk to him.." What can one say to that?????

3. It is about time someone said it

I'm sick of hearing people who do nothing (or next to nothing) to educate their children complaining about how "bad" our schools have become.

I just got into an argument with a friend about how "bad" his school district had become. It ended with me telling him that by the time I was his child's age my parents spent as much time reading to me as he spends letting his daughter watch TV every week.
