Every day, we watch several hours of Glenn Beck's radio and television programming and, as awful as that is, we do so while giving thanks that we don't actually work for Beck, because if we did, we might be forced to attend his morning meetings where staff members just sit there silently as he goes off on another one of his insane monologues about how the world has collectively gone insane.

"We are going to be remembered," Beck declared yesterday, "as an insane society; as a society that is just totally unhinged, totally disconnected for reality."

That sounds like the perfect definition of life inside Beck's empire, if you ask us:

5. So deep in his delusions

that now he has the rarity given to few, he's looking at himself in the mirror and what he has done with no introspection , no sense of what he's done, no thought of the damage he's caused. Reminded me of Stalin, berating his general staff about the incompetency of officers in the Soviet Army during WWII not realizing he was the one that purged and created that void in the officer corp due to his paranoia.

I sincerely believe that this nut-bag is seeing himself more and more as a religious prophet crying out and is making a strong appeal to the religious right in this country. He is now on the kick of pointing out the "faults" of America and weeping (as only he can) for it. He will, in his mind, lead the country out of its wilderness. Anything for a buck.

I called him on Labor Day last year to discuss something and he started shouting at me about how
'yeah, it's just us dumbasses working today! THEY all have OFF! Just sitting there on their asses all day
while WE work! That's something, eh? Isn't that just something?'

I was thinking how in gods' green fuck can anybody be angry about labor day?

I read a study one time about how lefties function off of the reason part of the brain, and righties were tied into the amygdala, the emotional root of thought. They literally did brain scans. Makes sense, righties like these two are way into anger and emotion.

Sometimes I think the way out of the world they manifested upon society would be to make a big campaign about how to handle the brain's energy and making it clear to them they've been scanned, and need to bone up. Might embarrass them.
