Papantonio: The Republican 50 State Strategy

Howard Dean developed a fifty state strategy back in 2004, where he told Democrats to focus on building the party from the bottom up. Local elections – according to Dean – were just as important as national elections. The Democrats didn’t take his message to heart, but Republicans have.

Ring of Fire's Mike Papantonio and attorney David Hersh tell us about the new Republican Plan to takeover our political system.

the Democratic party has become the Washington Generals? They seem to play just well enough to make it look like a game. Unfortunately the Republican party has gotten so bad it's getting impossible to believe how even the lowly Generals can't put em away.

parties are only pretending in order to keep us entertained and distracted while the Plutocrats screw us over. They put on a great game getting us to root for one side or the other so that we always blame the other team instead of their "owners" who are the ones leaving with the box office receipts!
We overlook the problems with our team in our zeal to beat the opposition!

Do I vote for Democrats, yes, but only for the principles they are supposed to stand for. I do not believe all Democrats are bought off, just most of them. ALL of the Republicans are owned. Why is it hard for us to understand that for them to get and stay in office, they HAVE to take money from big donors and give a quid pro quo to the Donors (yes Justice Roberts, there IS a quid pro quo for the money)! Unless you have populist support like Elizabeth Warren, with small donors from all over, you don't get to keep your D.C. job with all of the power, perks, and prestige.

Let's get the $ out of politics by protesting September 13th - November 4th (Election Day)! Spread the word and organize your city/town. Reach out to other groups who's issue(s) have not been satisfactorily resolved due to conflicts with the Plutocrats that their Koch addicted politicians block at every step!

It's about dark money organizations trying to buy elections. The Republican party is along for the ride, getting dragged further and further into Koch-specific policies.

A political science degree to begin with, before his medical degree, served in many state offices in Vermont besides twelve years as governor; his 50 state strategy was definitely effective. The "Dean scream" treatment by the media was insane. Later word was that Rahm Emanuel hated him, and was heavily responsible for shutting him out. True or not, I really miss Dean. He should still be on the Sunday political shows, where he always made sense. Too bad for the Dems.
