(9,688 posts)Yes, it was funny. Jon Stewart is one of the best comedians in the world.
On the other hand, what's wrapped up in that humour is the most awful inhumanity and evil, and I don't like the idea of laughing away and waiting for the next show, the next episode, hoping it's even funnier.
I've got an anti-Jon_Stewart on my other shoulder, explaining that the whole scenario of horror-for-entertainment isn't good.

In the movie Fallen which opens at a prisoner execution, the demon-possessed prisoner asks the detective who caught him: ''Why is there a space between Lyons and Spakowski?''
The detective thought the question was the gibberish of a man about to meet his end. But later another series of crimes leads him to a plaque that held those very names -- with a space between them.
- And he finds out the reason for the space is that no one wants anyone talking about anything that had to do with what was there. At. All. So they blanked it out.
Like most people here generally do......
Just knowing there is a bubble means one has awakened......
Very nice explanation.
eta: yet my instinct tells me that Jon Stewart is part of the fabric of that bubble.
