And talk about a real economic stimulus...FDR knew what to do...help the people.
And that is why he was elected 4 times because he helped millions of people that needed it badly...and not just this one Tom talks about but the CCC which gave young men a job that paid 1 dollar a day and they had to send 25 of it back to their family...they stayed in camps and did conservation work...which was also a critical thing in our agraculture...and many of the young men that went there had 3 square meals a day for the first time...and a pair of shoes and boots and some old surplus military clothing...he gained the love of millions for that one too.

We need a new FDR...and it is obvious which one my hopes is in.

As it is, the banks got to chase after the homeowners as if they never got paid.

While tossing themselves some WILD parties.

I guess few DUers will acknowledge what Thom is saying. This is very disappointing to me.

If we ever hope to improve, we will first have to acknowledge mistakes of the past. Unconditionally bailing out the banks was a grave mistake. First the banks should have been held responsible for their criminality.
