Unfortunately I got halfway though and the buffering started so I gave up on listening to the rest. It buffered for a good five minutes with no progress. I was interested to hear the solutions.

An erudite and astute observer of the political machine. He's been pretty well known in Canada for some time, and is married to our former Governer General, Adrienne Clarkson.

He's written a few good books, too. Particularly excellent is Voltaire's Bastards: The Dictatorship of Reason in the West. Basically an essay on how reason has failed to create a rational society in the west.
