I've thought this for a long time. I welcome being summoned for jury duty, look forward to maybe saving one non violent drug offender from the savagery of prison at a bilking of $60.000 each/per year to taxpayers.

I've always liked & voted for Jerry Brown. But on the issue of marijuana legalization & emptying our Ca prisons of non violent drug offenders, Brown is stubbornly dug in against. Jerry Brown is deeply in the pocket of the prison guard's union and private prison industry. (Or he's got a really ugly sadistic streak that he's kept well hidden all these years)

You must make an oat to follow the law, even if you disagree with it. Our system depends on honest juries following the law. It is undemocratic to suggest that jury nullification is ok....hopefully NAMBLA doesn't read your suggestions.
