I don't see it succeeding. I am an atheist, but I don't see myself watching shows about atheism that are not entertaining. Now, if they can find an Atheist Duck Dynasty........

Or give a humanistic viewpoint? Like Cosmos, Sesame Street, Antiques Roadshow, and Game of Thrones? Perhaps shows which recognize religion exists and debunks claims or offers alternative explanations for human mythology. Like Ancient Aliens, (once again) Cosmos, or a normal news program that treats all fundamentalists equally?

A network that jumps up and down chanting Atheist, Atheist, Atheist, would be just as fringe as the ones that currently jump up and down while chanting Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
If faith has been given over to reason, then reason; do market research and program accordingly.

I hope that they do evolve, and do it quickly. From the trailer, it didn't look like something that I would watch much. Actually, I will not be able to watch any of it, since I don't have cable or dish, but even if I did....it would get old fast watching atheist history. Even if they made sitcoms or movies with atheists as characters, or even drama programs with a story line that was pro-atheist. And of course, Cosmos.
