Artists should know they do impact our lives, and the universe of 'Star Trek' has probably changed the world in ways few of us can truly understand.

Talk about a stone tossed in a lake, and the ripples...

She can be a pain in the ass, but I love her anyway. It just goes to show people don't always realize the impact they can make on others. What a wonderful thing to happen.

Whoopi suffers some sort of internalized misogyny - whether she defended Roman Polanski because what he did to the 13-year-old girl wasn't "rape-rape" or defended Stephen A. Smith's comments about domestic violence. And letting Ted Danson do that infamous blackface skit. Sorry, I'm never listening to anything Whoopi has to say about anything.

We all have faults or disabilities that we sometimes think we cannot overcome. Mine seem so petty compared to those of Whoopi and this young man. Thanks to both of you for sharing this moment with all of us.
