other coordinated think tank-scripted blowhards who intimidate media and politicians, dominate national messaging, create buzz, and pronounce what is and isn't acceptable, like a chorus of national PC cops. meanwhile, establishment congress does the work in congress while trying to hold off nuts like cruz, who actually believe the radio.

because GOPers can't control the crazier ones.

If you guys can get Los Angeles 90.7 "Democracy Now" radio, please do. Its refreshing to listen to facts for the country and the world (what's really going on). GOPers (already know) want amnesty for corporations who are hiding their (trillion of dollars) in other countries to get a complete tax break but hell no to amnesty for immigrates. The witness and Matt T was speaking this morning. Good radio station!

Will probably shut down the government several times to get what they want? That if they don't get what they want there will be shutdown after shutdown?

If this happens, kiss America good bye.

Hey, I'm an old old lady who's witnessed some pretty awful things, one of the first being JFK's assassination. A whole lotta hope died that day, and then along came Reagan. Ugh! Recently I apologized to my 20-year-old grandson for the world he's inherited. Could never have anticipated the state our union's in. I have a few like-minded colleagues who are ready to rise up in revolution, but for the life of me I can't think that would do any good. Guess I'll have to stick with what we used to say back in the 60s--Keep the faith, baby.

Lips puckered, fingers crossed. Now if the nightmares would just quit!

Blessings to all.

The GOP is only interested in breaking the government to let private corporations take over.

Examples:

Post Office
National Parks
Public Education
Space Program
Pensions and other retirement benefits
Public utilities.
Public health
Medicare
Social Security
Student loan program
Private (mercenary) armies, eg: Blackwater Inc.

These are only a few examples of where Republican leaders vote to dismantle public institutions so to privatize the profits while creating higher costs for the public.

A pseudo Reagan aggrandized optimism with the Breaking News Theater entirely camouflaged by mainstream media happy faces with big bonus checks.

The new theme the Republicans need to have the White House to get things done.

Grid Lock will be out of the news. With smiles and slurps snickers and plain old personal character sneer smear and scandal galore with sensationalism the misinformation society continues, the media only to deliver no information.

These two years will be called an obstructionist president. And the Media will whale and whale that theme happily taking there one percent payroll to the banks they saved through lie and cover ups. Or the banks you I and I helped to bailout. What a sweet gig…
