Most probably died, either from hypothermia as the water slowly rose in the car or from drowning when debris smashed the windows.

converted 140 kmh into mph roughly 86 mph. !!! yikes . have a friend there , hope he is ok. best wishes ,prayors and good vibes to the people of brisbane au.
