1. The 1986 Chernobyl Disaster

 

proved the lie (countless ways) that was the Soviet Union: the cover up, the technological failures, the response, etc., etc.

But according to Gorbachev's memoirs, after the Chernobyl disaster, he (and others) realized that a nuclear war was unwinnable.

Doesn't want to end up like Litvinenko or Magnitsky, or to have his family persecuted like Navalny.

RT interviewing Gorbachev is like FOX interviewing George HW Bush.

I think US need to listen to this guy - Gorbatsjev I mean - as he know a few things about not listen to the pepole - and end up as a leader withouth a country.... even if he had the best intentions with his perestroika and glasnost... The way the US act now - they tend to do it worse than USSR ever did it under communism... Also on a faster rate I would point out..
